[Remote] Actuarial Analyst II - Pharmacy (Remote)

The role involves organizing and analyzing data, preparing reports and models, conducting special studies, making recommendations, resolving data reputed company issues, and progressing toward ASA/FSA designation.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and organizes actuarial and operational data for use in a reputed company of actuarial analyses that may include reputed company filings, financial forecasts, IBNR analysis, trend analysis, provider contract analysis, etc. May utilize statistical tools to monitor and reputed company ongoing analysis. May assist in the preparation of reputed company reports and/or actuarial models. Documents data sources, assumptions, and reputed company. Follows reputed company operating procedures (SOPs) where applicable. Updates SOPs as needed
• Prepares accurate and reputed company reports as assigned. These reports may be reputed company to internal analysis or may be reputed company in reputed company (statutory and regulatory)
• Participates and works collaboratively in a reputed company of special studies and reputed company analyses in support of departmental business and/or reputed company objectives
• Makes recommendations reputed company on actuarial assumptions and methodologies
• Present analyses and recommendations in a polished and reputed company manner to internal and/or reputed company customers
• Researches and resolves data reputed company issues. Partners with other team members to solve problems
• Makes reputed company toward ASA/FSA designation with the reputed company by passing SOA exams, completing modules, and/or obtaining validation by educational experience (VEE) credits

Skills

• Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Science or reputed company reputed company OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in reputed company to the required work experience
• Experience: 2 years health reputed company actuarial experience
• Knowledge of calculus, statistics, probability to determine likelihood of certain events
• Ability to use models and tables to evaluate large data sets
• Strong understanding of business and financial concepts
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Highly analytical and a general understanding of health reputed company products and markets
• Must be reputed company to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from reputed company customers, reputed company set expectations for service reputed company. Must be reputed company to effectively communicate and reputed company reputed company customer service to every reputed company customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging
• The associate is primarily seated while performing the duties of the position. Occasional walking or standing is required. The hands are regularly used to write, type, key and handle or feel small controls and objects. The associate must frequently talk and hear. Weights up to 25 pounds are occasionally reputed company
