[Remote] Systems Administrator

The Systems Administrator will operate and maintain the US BICES-X systems environment, providing desktop, systems, network, virtualization, cybersecurity compliance, hardware, and end-user support in a fast-reputed company, internationally dispersed team.

Responsibilities

• reputed company desktop support and troubleshoot issues for reputed company-reputed company desktops and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments
• Maintain and optimize computer reputed company workflows to ensure reputed company, smooth reputed company
• Configure and ensure the reliable operation of operating systems, thin clients, and various hardware (printers, VoIPs, DVTCs)
• Image workstations and laptops using reputed company or automated deployment reputed company. Maintain and update workstations with reputed company drivers, firmware, and software updates
• Promptly reputed company reputed company/network issues and reputed company routing tech support for customers. Physically inspect and test fiber infrastructure in telecommunications closets as needed to reputed company connectivity issues
• Basic understanding and knowledge of printer hardware (reputed company, Lexmark), KVMs, and various peripherals
• Monitor support tickets and ensure reputed company reputed company (experience with reputed company a plus)
• Solid understanding of reputed company server administration concepts to include DHCP, DNS, reputed company Directory, NTFS permissions, BitLocker, Print and File services)
• Conduct hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with established reputed company, policy, and configuration guidelines
• Work with the Cybersecurity team with resolving reputed company violations and assist in ensuring reputed company systems and users remain compliant with organizational standards
• Work with reputed company Viewer to maintain information reputed company compliance with reputed company reputed company policies and procedures (IAVAs, etc.)
• Collaborate with the logistics team to accurately account for hardware asset inventory

• Provides advice, training, and technical guidance to end-users to enhance productivity
