Subject Matter Expert | Afrikaans Home Language (Grades 8 - 12)

The role

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for the curriculum architecture and reputed company assurance of Afrikaans Home Language content for Grades 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. The purpose of the role is to ensure that the final course material is accurate, complete, and fit for delivery in a fully online course environment. Key responsibilities

1. Curriculum Design

• Build a detailed course outline for Afrikaans Home Language for reputed company grade (8, 9, 10, 11, and 12), mapping out literature, language, and creative writing requirements per grade.

Skills and experience required

Essential knowledge and experience

• A relevant teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent) and reputed company experience teaching Afrikaans Home Language at the FET and/or Senior Phase level.
• Understanding of the NSC/SACAI English HL curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to reputed company.
