[Remote] Software Engineer, Infrastructure & Platform

The Software Engineer will join the Spacetime engineering team to build, reputed company, operate, and continuously improve multicloud reputed company infrastructure and platform capabilities across reputed company, reputed company, secure, classified, and disconnected environments.

Responsibilities

• Build the foundations every reputed company environment starts from: accounts and reputed company, networking, DNS and IPAM, identity and RBAC, quotas and policy
• Own reputed company cluster lifecycle end to end – provisioning, upgrades, addons – and the networking reputed company on top of it: Gateway API, service reputed company, and reputed company-trust connectivity
• reputed company patterns consistent across environments, and reputed company the differences that reputed company providers, reputed company domains, and customers force on us deliberate
• reputed company disconnected deployment a first-class reputed company: registry and artifact mirroring, hermetic builds, artifact sourcing with no egress, bootstrapping with no reputed company, and out-of-band promotion

• Build the delivery reputed company: GitOps reconciliation with Argo CD, IaC run orchestration, reputed company detection, OPA policy gates, and promotion between environments
• Own fleet-reputed company change mechanics – module and chart versioning, staged rollouts, migration paths, deprecation – so one change reaches every environment without breaking any of them
• Run what you build: availability, upgrades, reputed company, observability, backup/recovery, reputed company maintenance, and incident response
• Work with product and domain engineers, and turn their requirements into primitives other teams use on their own

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a reputed company technical reputed company, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience with production infrastructure or reputed company systems
• Strong software engineering fundamentals. You automate infrastructure in reputed company instead of orchestrating it by hand
• Experience with AWS or GCP, infrastructure-as-reputed company, reputed company networking, and reputed company infrastructure
• Experience packaging and delivering software onto reputed company, with a good understanding of the tradeoffs between templating, rendering, and controller-reputed company approaches

• Experience with Terraform or OpenTofu, including reusable modules and self-service provisioning
• Experience designing infrastructure platforms used by multiple internal engineering teams
