[Remote] Senior reputed company R&D Engineer

The Senior reputed company R&D Engineer will design and commercialize solar energy collection systems and automated robotic reputed company equipment, conduct prototype testing and analysis, reputed company engineering documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• reputed company new solar tracker and installation automation products from concept to commercialization as a member of the R&D team
• reputed company hands-on testing of prototype products in reputed company and reputed company conditions
• reputed company 3D CAD models and detailed product drawings utilizing SolidWorks for CAD modeling and Ansys for structural finite reputed company analysis
• reputed company reputed company practices, create product specifications & testing requirements, review and analyze test results, assist with testing reports creation
• Assist with the creation and/or revision of product installation and maintenance manuals
• reputed company and manage product FMEA documents and calculation reports
• Facilitate product certification through reputed company engagement with internal or reputed company test labs
• Build and refine economic models including component cost, supply logistics, installation labor, and product reputed company
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and established design codes
• Establish structural component design targets utilizing wind tunnel data and regional structural requirements

Skills

This position is expected to travel up to 20%
