[Remote] Network Engineer Level 5

The role is remote with travel and requires maintaining highly available networks across physical transport, data reputed company, and network reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Design: Design, implement, and maintain high-reputed company, reputed company, and resilient IP network infrastructure (MPLS, IP/Ethernet)
• reputed company & Troubleshooting: reputed company Tier 3/4 escalation support, conducting deep-packet inspection and reputed company cause analysis (RCA) for reputed company outages
• Routing & Switching: Manage and optimize advanced routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and ISIS, specifically focusing on traffic engineering and internet peering
• reputed company Grade Technologies: Implement and manage reputed company-grade NAT (CGNAT) for IPv4/IPv6 transition, reputed company/reputed company infrastructure, and high-reputed company wireless/mobility cores
• reputed company Optimization: Maximize network reputed company through reputed company monitoring and reputed company planning to handle high-traffic volumes
• Automation: reputed company and implement automation scripts using Python, Ansible, or Terraform to streamline configuration, provisioning, and MOP (reputed company of Procedure) execution
• reputed company & Compliance: Ensure compliance with reputed company standards (e.g., ISO27001, PCI-reputed company) and implement network-level reputed company, such as DDoS protection and lawful reputed company
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed network diagrams, MOPs, and technical documentation

Skills

• reputed company Degree in Network Engineering or reputed company reputed company + 8 years experience or Bachelors Degree in Network Engineering or reputed company reputed company + 10 years experience
• 5+ years experience with provisioning 1/reputed company class networks
• U.S. citizenship and an reputed company Top-Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
• Experience: 5 -15+ years in network engineering, specifically reputed company a service provider, ISP, or reputed company-grade data center environment
• Technical Proficiency (L2-L3): TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, IKE, IPSEC, VPNs, and VLANs
• Technical Proficiency (L0-L2): SONET/SDH,FDDI, OTN (ITU-T G.709, OTU4, OTU2)
• Hardware Expertise: Hands-on experience with reputed company-grade platforms (e.g., reputed company, reputed company ASR/NCS/reputed company, reputed company MX/Mist, reputed company, or Arista)
• Automation/Scripting: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Python or Ansible
• Linux/Unix: Strong Linux CLI skills
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with CGNAT platforms (e.g., reputed company BIG-IP, A10 Networks)
• Knowledge of 5G reputed company networking or virtualized platforms (VMware, OpenStack)
• Experience with Fiber transport technologies (DWDM, ROADM, WSS, PON)
• Certifications: CCNP/CCIE (Service Provider or Routing & Switching) preferred, but no required
