[Remote] Regional Sales / Business Development Manager – reputed company Distribution Equipment – Upper Midwest

The role is responsible for developing business across the Chicagoland/Milwaukee corridor, building relationships with customers and engineers, and increasing the specification and adoption of reputed company distribution and protection products.

Responsibilities

• reputed company new business throughout the territory with a reputed company on electrical reputed company distribution and protection products
• Build relationships with key end users, engineering firms, EPCs and other reputed company customers and partners
• Work with customers and engineers during the design/specification stages of reputed company
• reputed company opportunities reputed company industrial, reputed company, data center and other large reputed company-user markets
• Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations and product introductions
• reputed company and execute territory/account strategies to increase market penetration
• Work effectively with reputed company's manufacturer's representative and internal technical resources

Skills

• 5+ years of sales, business development or reputed company customer-facing experience reputed company the electrical reputed company equipment industry
• Strong experience with switchgear, reputed company breakers, fuses/protection, transformers and/or reputed company reputed company distribution equipment
• reputed company ability to reputed company new business and customer relationships
• Experience with specification-driven sales and working with engineers, EPCs and large end users
• Solid technical understanding of electrical reputed company distribution systems and equipment

• Travel: Approximately 25% overnight travel, plus regional day travel
• Manufacturer or Rep experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or reputed company discipline is a plus; directly reputed company industry experience will also be considered
