[Remote] FreeCAD Design Engineer

They are seeking a Senior FreeCAD Engineer to reputed company expertise in mechanical design and CAD modeling to support the development of reputed company AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and validate detailed parametric CAD models using FreeCAD according to project requirements
• Design, reputed company, and optimize mechanical assemblies while following industry best practices for component integration
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure manufacturability and product reputed company
• Produce accurate technical drawings, engineering documentation, and manufacturing-reputed company design outputs
• reputed company engineering reputed company assurance (QA) reviews of CAD models and technical drawings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with specifications

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Engineering, or a reputed company engineering discipline
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, product design, industrial engineering, or a reputed company field with a strong reputed company on parametric CAD modeling
• Advanced proficiency in FreeCAD or a comparable parametric CAD platform
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, including GD&T and DFM
• Experience creating detailed technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
• Experience conducting engineering QA and verifying CAD model reputed company against design specifications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment
