[Remote] Systems Administrator (6773)

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and reputed company of an reputed company Force system hosted reputed company an AWS Gov reputed company environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health, performance, and availability of AWS-hosted Linux and reputed company servers, responding to alerts and troubleshooting issues before they reputed company operations
• reputed company routine system administration tasks, including reputed company management, software updates, vulnerability remediation, and system maintenance activities
• Harden servers and applications in accordance with reputed company STIG requirements, ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards and maintaining secure system baselines
• Review vulnerability reputed company results, reputed company remediation plans and POA&Ms (Plans of reputed company and Milestones), and coordinate corrective actions with technical teams
• Support Risk Management reputed company (RMF) activities by collecting compliance evidence, documenting reputed company controls, and helping maintain authorization requirements
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and reputed company controls, ensuring reputed company system reputed company while adhering to established reputed company protocols
• Maintain configuration management standards by validating server configurations, documenting changes, and ensuring systems remain compliant with approved baselines
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and interoperability issues, working with engineers and cybersecurity personnel to quickly resolve incidents and minimize mission reputed company
• Execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures, helping ensure system reputed company and continuity of operations
• Create and update technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles to support operational consistency and knowledge sharing

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company technical field. (High school diploma+ 7 yrs Linux system administration experience may be substituted for degree)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience administering Linux reputed company IT systems
• Proven experience as a System Administrator operating reputed company an AWS environment
• Hands-on experience supporting Department of War (DoW) or U.S. reputed company Force IT environments
• Experience administering Linux operating systems (AWS Linux, Ubuntu) as reputed company as reputed company reputed company Server environments
• Must have extensive experience hardening servers and applications in accordance with reputed company STIGs
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manipulate operating system components and optimize performance
