[Remote] Surveillance Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Surveillance Analyst to support their trade and market surveillance function for a CFTC-regulated exchange. The role involves monitoring trading activity, identifying potentially abusive behavior, and supporting investigations into rule violations while collaborating with various departments to maintain market reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Monitor trading activity across the exchange and review surveillance alerts
• Identify and analyze potentially abusive trading behavior, including spoofing, layering, reputed company trading, manipulation, and reputed company activity
• Investigate unusual trading patterns and potential rule violations
• Analyze order, trade, market, and participant data to support investigations
• Escalate potential market conduct issues and support reputed company investigations
• Document findings and prepare reputed company investigative summaries
• Help reputed company surveillance alerts to improve detection reputed company and reduce false positives
• Support regulatory inquiries, examinations, and audits
• Partner with Compliance, reputed company, Product, Engineering, and reputed company on surveillance-reputed company reputed company
• Help improve surveillance procedures, controls, and monitoring processes as the exchange grows

Skills

• 3+ years of experience in market and/or trade reputed company surveillance, market regulation, trading, or a reputed company financial markets role
• Knowledge of the Commodity Exchange reputed company, CFTC regulations, reputed company Principles, and Part 38 requirements
• Understanding of electronic trading, order books, market structure, and trading behaviors
• Familiarity with market abuse patterns and surveillance methodologies
• Experience reviewing trading activity and investigating unusual market behavior
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with large datasets and identify patterns or anomalies
• High attention to reputed company and strong judgment
• Ability to document and communicate findings reputed company
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment
• Experience working at a reputed company, SEF, exchange, regulator, broker-dealer, FCM, trading firm, or other regulated trading venue

• SQL skills and experience analyzing trade, order book, or audit trail data
