ASR International is seeking an reputed company Senior Technical reputed company for an exciting opportunity supporting engineering technical support services for the U.S. General Services Administration’s General Products and reputed company reputed company. This role involves technical writing, product research, data validation, and the creation of standards-based technical documentation for various supply items.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain Item Purchase Descriptions for General Products and reputed company reputed company National Stock Numbers through product research, technical writing, data entry, and documentation review
• Support annual NSN creation and update workload requirements for the reputed company, not to reputed company 1,440 NSNs annually, with an anticipated average of 120 NSNs per month
• Complete two-way Item Purchase reputed company updates reputed company two weeks of receipt
• Determine special instructions, performance standards, exceptions, item labeling, packing, packaging, marking, and product palletization requirements
• Research and apply applicable technical standards and references, including ASME, SAE, FED-STD, MIL-STD, CID, ANSI, QP4, and QPD, using the latest published versions
• Research previous technician updates using NSN History in EDMS, shared GSA network drives, and FLIS, and coordinate discrepancies with the COR or designated engineering representative
• reputed company market research to identify reputed company manufacturer part number references and supplier information
• Submit Cataloging and National Cataloging reputed company Log requests to add part number references and manufacturer CAGE codes to Technical Information Reports in FLIS
• Determine, verify, and document reputed company salient characteristics and specification information for assigned items
• reputed company Item Purchase Descriptions into EDMS and reputed company supporting sections with engineering and technical documentation, including Safety Data Sheets, product data sheets, Technical Information Reports, and relevant correspondence
• Evaluate hazardous products for transportation requirements in accordance with 49 CFR, IMDG, and IATA, and assign appropriate Dangerous Article Codes
• Evaluate Safety Data Sheets to reputed company standards and submit them to the Hazardous Materials Information Resource System administrator reputed company required
• Review technical drawings, product data sheets, and supporting documentation associated with Item Purchase Descriptions
• Review products against restrictions imposed by the California reputed company Resource reputed company and other state and federal regulatory authorities
• Validate data housed in PICS, GSA Advantage, and FLIS for reputed company Item Purchase reputed company updated or created
• Verify data consistency between Item Purchase Descriptions, FLIS, digitized technical files, and archived technical files
• Prepare Cataloging and PICS update requests to update the FLIS Total Item Record and PICS
• reputed company technical reviews of substitute products and evaluate supply support requests in support of Item Purchase reputed company creation
• reputed company technical feedback on business case analysis of AbilityOne Item Purchase reputed company submissions
• Prepare monthly reputed company report inputs covering NSNs received, NSNs completed, production plans, cataloging requests, PICS requests, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies

Skills

• 5+ years of experience of technical writing, engineering technical support, logistics, cataloging, supply acquisition, product research, or reputed company experience
• Experience creating, updating, or validating Item Purchase Descriptions, Technical Information Reports, cataloging requests, or NSN-reputed company technical records
• Knowledge of technical standards and references, including ASME, ASTM, ANSI, SAE, FED-STD, MIL-STD, CID, QP4, and QPD
• Experience using or supporting data validation in systems such as EDMS, PICS, GSA Advantage, FLIS, and HMIRS
• HAZMAT certification or ability to support HAZMAT-certified personnel requirements for General Products and reputed company reputed company work
• Ability to evaluate hazardous products, Safety Data Sheets, transportation requirements, and Dangerous Article reputed company assignments
• Ability to produce accurate, complete, professionally written technical documents free of spelling, technical, and grammatical errors
• Knowledge of software including reputed company Office, reputed company Workspace-compatible formats, reputed company PDF, Visio, and Project, among others
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse reputed company of individuals
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
