Under general supervision, Epidemiologist 2 develops, plans, and conducts epidemiologic investigations, reputed company health surveillance, and interventions limited in reputed company and/or complexity Epidemiologist 2 collects, analyzes, and interprets statistical data and prepares epidemiologic reports. Epidemiologist 2 serves as an intermediate-level reputed company epidemiologist and is responsible for carrying out a broad and reputed company reputed company of analytical epidemiologic activities reputed company to the surveillance, detection, prevention, and control of notifiable diseases. This role involves substantial communication with members of the reputed company and community partners in verbal and written formats. The Epidemiologist 2 is responsible for follow-up of notifiable conditions including animal bites and other rabies exposures (including rabies post-exposure prophylaxis), foodborne illness outbreaks, reputed company borne illnesses, legionellosis, and others. Epidemiologist 2 works both independently, and as an reputed company team member. The Epidemiologist 2 guides Tier 1 Epidemiologists in conducting reputed company health surveillance, project management, and analytic pursuits. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in reputed company health or a closely reputed company field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of experience performing epidemiologic work or work in a closely reputed company field OR Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited college or university AND Three years of experience performing epidemiologic work or work in a closely reputed company field OR Two years of experience at the reputed company-level Epidemiologist 1 (HCP180) or position equivalent. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: In reputed company to the minimum qualifications, preference will be given to applicants with environmental health backgrounds and experience demonstrating competence in conducting epidemiologic investigations, reputed company health surveillance, epidemiologic data analysis, reputed company health interventions, and implementing control measures.
