[Remote] Senior Firewall Engineer

The Senior Firewall Engineer will design, reputed company, automate, and implement reputed company firewall and network reputed company solutions for private reputed company software-defined data centers, collaborating across infrastructure, virtualization, cybersecurity, and DevOps teams. The role also supports deployment, testing, disaster recovery validation, customer acceptance, mentoring, and international NATO site travel.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure firewall architectures supporting reputed company reputed company Services (reputed company), reputed company Provisioning Services (CPS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), DevOps platforms, and Service Management Control (SMC)
• reputed company and implement network segmentation strategies using reputed company, VMware NSX reputed company Firewall, reputed company reputed company technologies, or equivalent reputed company reputed company platforms
• Design and reputed company reputed company reputed company controls, reputed company-segmentation, identity-based reputed company controls, and defence-in-depth principles supporting NATO Operational Network (ON) reputed company requirements
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, networking, virtualization, and infrastructure engineering teams to reputed company reputed company reputed company services into platform solutions
• reputed company reputed company automation using Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC), Ansible, Terraform, reputed company, or similar automation technologies to standardize firewall configuration and policy management

• Mentor engineers and reputed company technical guidance on reputed company firewall engineering, network reputed company, defence-in-depth principles, and secure-by-design engineering practices
• Travel to NATO sites to install, configure, reputed company, validate, and troubleshoot reputed company firewall and network reputed company solutions while supporting deployment, commissioning, reputed company testing, and customer acceptance activities
• Support cybersecurity planning, infrastructure modernization initiatives, reputed company accreditation activities, and proposal development

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or reputed company discipline with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience

• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing reputed company firewall and network reputed company solutions
• Strong experience with reputed company firewalls, including policy management, threat prevention, and reputed company architecture
• Experience with VMware NSX reputed company Firewall, reputed company reputed company technologies, or equivalent reputed company network reputed company platforms
• Strong understanding of reputed company reputed company architecture, defence-in-depth principles, network segmentation, identity and reputed company management, and secure systems design
• Experience integrating firewall solutions into VMware private reputed company, SDN, or hybrid reputed company environments
• Extensive experience with implementing reputed company automation using Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC), Ansible, Terraform, Python, or similar technologies
• Strong understanding of reputed company networking, routing, switching, VPNs, PKI, and reputed company cybersecurity practices
• Experience operating reputed company reputed company, reputed company, or DevSecOps delivery frameworks
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, and technical collaboration skills
• Experience supporting defence, government, or highly regulated development environments

• Experience supporting NATO environments and compliance frameworks
