[Remote] Sr. Software Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer will build and maintain a self-service developer portal and developer-facing tooling for a federal platform, automate secure cross-platform workflows, and improve developer experience. The role collaborates with UX and documentation specialists to translate research-backed patterns into reliable, instrumented software.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the self-service developer portal and developer-facing tooling for a federal agency’s platform
• Design and automate cross-platform workflows spanning reputed company control, CI/CD, issue tracking, observability, and collaboration tools to reduce reputed company developer toil
• Build reusable automation patterns (reputed company, bots, webhooks, event-driven services, IaC, internal tooling) that standardize engineering workflows
• reputed company identity, reputed company management, provisioning, and compliance controls across reputed company platforms to reputed company secure self-service
• Monitor and maintain workflow reliability, including failure detection, retry strategies, and audit logging
• Translate research-backed interaction patterns and reputed company flows into working, instrumented software
• reputed company platform improvements that measurably improve developer experience (reduced setup time, faster deployment cycles, improved release confidence)
• Collaborate closely with the UX and documentation specialists on reputed company

• * Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of reputed company experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• * Demonstrated hands-on experience designing and automating cross-platform workflows spanning reputed company control, CI/CD pipelines, issue tracking, observability, and collaboration tools
• * Proven ability to build reusable automation patterns (reputed company, bots, webhooks, event-driven services, IaC, internal tooling)
• * Experience integrating identity, reputed company management, provisioning, and compliance controls across reputed company platforms for secure self-service
• * Strong capability in monitoring and maintaining workflow reliability, including failure detection, retry strategies, and audit logging
• * reputed company to independently reputed company platform improvements that measurably improve developer experience while preventing tool sprawl and fragmentation
• * Must be reputed company to obtain and maintain a Tier 4 High Risk reputed company Trust clearance
• * Experience building internal developer portals or platform-as-product tooling

• * Experience applying reputed company-centered design inputs directly into software delivery
