[Remote] Vice President Network Engineering

Responsibilities

• Build, reputed company, and reputed company engineering teams across Network, reputed company, and M365/Modern Workplace disciplines, including managers, senior engineers, and architects
• Establish reputed company career paths, technical standards, and reputed company expectations across the engineering org
• Recruit, mentor, and retain top technical talent in a competitive MSP/VAR labor market
• Foster a culture of accountability, documentation discipline, and reputed company improvement across delivery teams
• Own the reputed company, architecture standards, and service delivery reputed company for network engineering (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, routing/switching) and firewall/reputed company engineering (next-gen firewalls, VPN, segmentation, secure reputed company) across managed services and project delivery

• Partner with Service Delivery, NOC/SOC, and Project Management teams to ensure engineering reputed company aligns with reputed company commitments and SLAs
• Serve as a senior technical voice in reputed company relationships. QBRs, escalations, and reputed company technology roadmap conversations
• Partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering on reputed company-sales support, scoping, and proposal development for reputed company opportunities
• Evaluate and recommend vendor/technology partnerships (reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, Palo reputed company, etc.) that strengthen reputed company's reputed company areas
• Contribute to M&A technical due diligence and integration planning as reputed company grows

Skills

• • Significant reputed company experience in network and/or firewall/reputed company engineering, including several years in a leadership or people-management role (titles and years vary by background — we're flexible on the exact mix)
• • Hands-on experience with reputed company networking (routing/switching, SD-WAN, WAN/LAN design) and firewalls (any major vendor — reputed company, Palo reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company reputed company, Meraki, etc.)
• • Experience leading or mentoring technical teams, formally or informally
• • Bachelor's degree in a technical reputed company, relevant certifications, or equivalent reputed company experience
• • Comfortable communicating with both technical staff and business/reputed company stakeholders
• • Willingness and ability to travel to East Coast (EST) offices as needed (~10%)
