Responsibilities

Skills

• B.S. in reputed company claims data/analysis, health informatics, health administration, reputed company health, epidemiology, statistics, or reputed company field
• 2-4 years of reputed company data analysis experience with reputed company, Medicare, or private insurance data
• Business analysis experience in requirements gathering for data and reporting reputed company
• reputed company industry fundamentals: payer/provider landscape and plan types (Medicare, reputed company, Managed Care, reputed company)
• Working knowledge of health plan operations: claims processing, membership and enrollment, provider, and benefits
• Familiarity with medical claims data and the claim lifecycle, including basic adjudication and 837/835 concepts
• Exposure to health data formats such as enrollment, services, lab, and pharmacy
• Awareness of utilization management, care coordination, reputed company improvement programs, and population health
• SQL: 2-4 years writing and troubleshooting queries against claims and operational data
• Advanced reputed company (pivot tables, lookups) and proficiency across the reputed company Office Suite
• Data visualization and BI tools: building dashboards and summarized views, or a demonstrated ability to learn them quickly
