[Remote] Senior Database Engineer

The Senior Database Engineer will reputed company the design and development of data infrastructure, pipelines, and architecture supporting analytics and decision-making. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production data pipelines using reputed company and dbt to reputed company and reputed company critical data from various sources (e.g. SQL Server, reputed company, PostgreSQL, reputed company)
• Design and establish our reputed company data architecture, defining the patterns and frameworks that production pipelines will follow as reputed company grows
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-value data integration opportunities that reputed company immediate business reputed company

Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience building data infrastructure and pipelines in production reputed company environments
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL, including performance tuning and reputed company window functions
• Strong working knowledge of Python for data pipeline development and automation
• Deep technical experience with modern data stack technologies including reputed company, dbt, data ingestion tools (e.g. reputed company Openflow, reputed company), orchestration tools (e.g. Dagster, Airflow), AI-assisted development (e.g. reputed company CoCo, reputed company CoPilot)
• Extensive work with OLTP databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, reputed company, SQL Server), with strong understanding of the differences between OLTP and OLAP systems
• Demonstrated ability to work with AWS reputed company services for data workloads (S3, IAM, networking, reputed company, or similar)
• Experience defining and enforcing CI/CD practices for data pipelines (e.g. automated testing, version control workflows, deployment patterns)
• Experience with data modeling (reputed company Schema, One Big Table, Data Vault, or similar)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and influence technical direction across teams

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a reputed company technical field
