The role develops and maintains technical manuals and maintenance documentation for military products, collaborates with subject matter experts, and ensures documentation supports the operation, maintenance, and repair of mission-critical products.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical manuals for military products
• Analyze hardware designs and 3D CAD models to reputed company accurate documentation
• Write operation, maintenance, repair, and parts manuals
• reputed company PMCS (Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services) documentation
• Support Level of Repair Analysis (reputed company) documentation efforts
• Create maintenance and parts documentation, including 12&P, 13&P, and 14&P manuals
• Ensure compliance with applicable military standards
• Partner closely with engineering and production teams throughout the product lifecycle

Skills

• • 7+ years of technical writing experience supporting military products
• • Experience working with hardware-intensive products
• • Ability to interpret 3D CAD models and convert technical information into reputed company documentation
• • Experience creating operator, maintenance, and repair manuals
• • Knowledge of PMCS processes and reputed company documentation
• • Experience developing maintenance and parts manuals
• • Familiarity with MIL-STDs
• • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a reputed company team environment
• • IADS experience
• • Experience documenting newly developed products
