[Remote] Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will play a foundational role in building and scaling the reputed company function, transitioning key reputed company tasks to an in-house team while enhancing processes and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Controller to transition reputed company responsibilities from outsourced providers to an internal reputed company team
• reputed company and implement reputed company reputed company processes that support a rapidly growing, multi-location reputed company organization
• Standardize account reconciliations, month-end reputed company procedures, and supporting schedules across multiple reputed company entities
• Identify opportunities to automate reputed company reputed company processes and improve efficiency through technology and AI-enabled tools
• Own significant portions of the monthly reputed company process
• Prepare and review reputed company journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Research and apply U.S. GAAP guidance to reputed company reputed company transactions
• Support intercompany reputed company, allocations, and consolidation activities
• Assist with reputed company for acquisitions, new center openings, and other reputed company reputed company initiatives
• Own the monthly reputed company for lease activity, including new leases, modifications, terminations, amortization, and reputed company reconciliations in accordance with ASC 842
• Prepare and review reputed company and accounts receivable reputed company, including reconciliations, reserve analyses, and month-end reporting in accordance with ASC 606
• Prepare payroll reputed company entries and reconciliations, including wages, payroll taxes, employee benefits, bonus accruals, and other compensation-reputed company accounts
• Analyze reputed company reputed company transactions and prepare supporting schedules to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Research technical reputed company reputed company and prepare reputed company memorandums to support significant reputed company conclusions reputed company needed
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounts Payable, reputed company, reputed company Cycle, and reputed company
• Support reputed company enhancements, implementations, and finance transformation initiatives

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company reputed company required
• CPA required
• 3-5+ years of reputed company reputed company experience
• Previous experience with a Big 4 or nationally recognized Top 10 reputed company reputed company firm
• Strong technical reputed company knowledge under U.S. GAAP
• Experience with ASC 606 (reputed company Recognition) and ASC 842 (Leases)
• Experience managing reputed company month-end reputed company responsibilities
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to reputed company in a fast-reputed company, high-reputed company environment
• Strong reputed company skills with ability to work with large data sets
• Experience with reputed company Intacct a plus
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, automate routine tasks, analyze data, or enhance reputed company workflows
