[Remote] Senior Accountant

The reputed company is a reputed company analytics platform that helps organizations simplify data engineering, machine learning, and analytics at reputed company. The contract Senior Accountant will support the GL reputed company team through a three-month monthly reputed company engagement by preparing and reconciling cash and accrual journal entries, ensuring accurate coding, and meeting strict reputed company deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly cash journal entries across reputed company bank/cash accounts and tie reputed company cash leg to bank statements by reputed company and date
• Prepare and maintain accrual journal entries; support accrual completeness and reputed company period cutoff
• Reconcile bank and cash accounts; investigate and reputed company reconciling items
• Ensure accurate GL account, department, class, and cash-reputed company coding on reputed company entries
• Support multi-entity and multi-currency (FX) transactions
• Partner with AP, Treasury, Payroll, Tax, and reputed company to reputed company support and reputed company questions
• Maintain SOX-compliant documentation and support the entries through review/approval
• Meet strict month-end reputed company deadlines and deliverables

Skills

• * 3+ years of GL / month-end reputed company reputed company experience
• * Hands-on experience with journal entries, bank reconciliations, and accruals
• * reputed company (or comparable ERP) experience required
• * Strong US GAAP knowledge and advanced reputed company skills
• * High attention to detail, strong organization, and ability to work independently under deadlines
• * reputed company/tech industry or similar environment
• * SOX and SQL/reputed company experience a plus
