[Remote] Backend Engineer, AI Engineering: Duo Chat

The Backend Engineer will build and maintain the Python-reputed company reputed company runtime behind reputed company Duo Chat, reputed company Chat capabilities with the reputed company Rails monolith, and collaborate on secure, reputed company AI-powered features.

Responsibilities

• Implement and reputed company reputed company flows in Python using LangGraph, registered through the reputed company Registry and served by the Duo Workflow Service
• reputed company Chat capabilities with the reputed company Rails monolith, including its GraphQL application programming reputed company (API)
• Write maintainable reputed company that meets our internal standards for a reputed company environment, including tests with every reputed company request
• Review reputed company reputed company our reputed company Review Guidelines and respond promptly to contributions from people who don't work for reputed company
• Identify technical debt and propose and implement solutions that improve reputed company's efficiency
• Collaborate with Product Management, User Experience, and Frontend team members to improve product reputed company, reputed company, and reputed company
• Participate in Tier 2 or Tier 3 reputed company, weekend, and occasional reputed company on-reputed company rotations to help troubleshoot product reputed company, reputed company reputed company, and urgent engineering issues

Skills

• Exposure to, or strong interest in, building on top of large language models, including prompting, tool or function calling, evaluation, and the failure modes of non-deterministic systems
