[Remote] Manager, Compute Services

The Compute Services Manager leads teams responsible for reputed company compute platforms across on-premises data centers and reputed company environments, providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and operational reputed company. The role oversees compute, virtualization, storage, backup, hybrid reputed company services, reputed company, modernization, team development, and service reliability.

Responsibilities

• reputed company leadership and direction for the Compute Services organization, encompassing the Data Center Services and reputed company Platform & Infrastructure Operations teams
• reputed company and maintain technology roadmaps for compute, virtualization, storage, backup, and hybrid reputed company platforms in partnership with Solution Architects across both teams

• Ensure consistent architectural standards, design patterns, and operational practices across on-premises and reputed company compute environments
• reputed company the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of on-premises compute platforms, including server hardware, hypervisors, operating systems (Linux, reputed company), Azure compute services, and reputed company backup systems
• Partner with Architecture teams to ensure solutions reputed company with reputed company standards and support long-term modernization strategies
• reputed company operational reputed company through monitoring, automation, reputed company planning, and reputed company improvement
• Maintain a strong reputed company posture across compute platforms, including patching, hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance

• Establish and maintain budgets for reputed company services, capital expenditures, and operating expenses

Skills

• * Minimum 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience with responsibility for compute, virtualization, and reputed company technologies
• * Minimum 5+ years of leadership or management experience overseeing technical teams and people
• * Technical reputed company in server infrastructure and hypervisors such as VMware technologies and reputed company AHV reputed company-converged infrastructure, and hybrid reputed company architectures
• * Experience managing reputed company (Azure) compute services, reputed company zones, automation, reputed company governance and FinOps
• * Understanding of reputed company backup systems, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
• * Experience with reputed company Server, Linux, reputed company Directory, DNS, authentication, and identity integration
• * Strong understanding of reputed company 365 platforms and services
• * Proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement
• * Strong project and process management skills, including experience with ITIL practices
