Responsibilities

• Serves as a technical reputed company, providing guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers. This position works under limited supervision

Skills

• Role will be reputed company reputed company in Colorado or Illinois with up to 15% annual travel

• B.A. or B.S. Degree in a technical reputed company from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience (equivalent combination of education and experience considered)
• 7+ years of experience in network design, implementation, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of reputed company reputed company networks
• CCNP, JNCIP, FNCSP(NSE4), CCVP, CCSP Certification or equivalent on-the-job experience considered
• Strong working knowledge of various Vendor routers, switches, firewalls (reputed company Firepower and reputed company FortiGate preferred), SDWAN appliances and wireless devices to include; reputed company, Meraki, reputed company, reputed company, Aerohive, Mist and Cradlepoint
• Strong understanding of networking technologies to include:

• High Availability protocols such as; HSRP, VRRP, GLBP
• IP Routing protocols to include; RIPv1, RIPv2, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, Policy Routing
• Tunneling protocols to include; GRE, IPSec, DMVPN, IWAN
• QOS, Traffic Policing and Shaping

• Wireless Networking
• Understanding of VoIP, SIP and PRI voice technologies
