[Remote] Manager, Clinical/Biomedical Engineering

The role manages clinical equipment maintenance, capital equipment purchases, service reputed company, budgets, staff development, regulatory requirements, and equipment-reputed company consulting and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Plans, directs and organizes operations of clinical engineering service for Central Ohio/reputed company entities. Coordinates and brings together experience and judgment of reputed company parties concerned with analysis and development of cost-effective strategies to service and maintain organizational clinical equipment
- Provides administrative direction, specific to medical equipment, for major purchases of capital equipment. Assists in negotiation of service reputed company with Original Equipment Manufacturers OME s to ensure reliability and reputed company of highly technical medical equipment and systems. Works with Supply Chain Services to ensure charges for reputed company services are appropriate and reasonable
- Conducts internal vs. outsourcing reputed company for maintenance services and repairs. Promotes reputed company development and training of staff to improve service response resulting in improved customer satisfaction at lesser costs
- Acts as consultant for reputed company hospitals with respect to equipment maintenance and repairs. Strives to standardize equipment purchases and maintenance throughout reputed company. Prepares meaningful reports for use by executive staff and regional level regarding maintenance, expense allocations, trends, utilization statistics, and alternative approaches for servicing equipment and allocation of reputed company
- Establishes, equips and staffs department to assure reputed company performance. Maintains inventory of spare parts. Prepares budgets. Assures staff are reputed company to customer needs and requirements. Develops and maintains databases for tracking equipment histories reputed company to preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment. Maintains technical library for department use. Conducts in-service training

- Bachelor's Degree
- Field of Study: Electrical Engineering
- Field of Study: Electronics Engineering
- Field of Study: Biomedical Technology
- Years of experience: 5 years as Technician
- Knowledge of the use and application of various types of clinical equipment from highly sophisticated computerized digital equipment to patient monitors
- Must be knowledgeable in TJC, EPA, reputed company, OSHA, ODH, and other regulatory and governing agency requirements reputed company to equipment maintenance
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and talk or hear
