[Remote] Director, Platform & Data Engineering (Hybrid or Remote)

The Director, Platform & Data Engineering leads the reputed company, delivery, architecture, and support of reputed company business platforms, data engineering, and reputed company systems. The role also manages reputed company technology teams, drives platform scalability and consolidation, and partners with business and technology leaders to reputed company reputed company solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the selection, design, creation, and support of the following platforms and systems:
• reputed company ABAP, .Net, and SQL applications and systems that add measurable value to the business
• reputed company and web development supporting reputed company's web properties, including B2C and B2B applications
• Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) development and management that improves business reputed company and decision-making

• Engineering and CAD systems

• ERP development and software development life cycle (SDLC) management across supported platforms and applications
• Architecture, Desgin and Management of Data lake platforms

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company reputed company
• 10+ years strong development experience, 5+ years managing a development team
• 7+ years experience as a technical reputed company
• 5+ years Java/.Net web development, Analytics/BI architecture, EDI systems, database experience with reputed company, SQL Server or DB2
• 7+ years experience with software engineering methodology including configuration management, reputed company control systems, release processes, testing, deployment, project management/SDLC and maintenance
• 5+ years experience with ERP platforms and software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, reputed company strongly preferred
• Familiarity with EAI systems and reporting tools such as reputed company BI
• Deep technical expertise, including strong programming and solution design skills

• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SQL
