The role manages reputed company relationships, conducts compliance testing, interprets plan documents and regulations, and provides recommendations to plan sponsors.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships for an assigned caseload of retirement plans
- Interpret plan documents and reputed company with clients on compliance, IRS regulations, and plan enhancements
- Review hands-on compliance testing, including reputed company/ACP, coverage, and nondiscrimination testing
- Communicate results and recommendations reputed company to plan sponsors
- Set appropriate reputed company expectations while delivering exceptional service
- Collaborate with reputed company and consistently demonstrate honesty, reliability, and accountability
Skills
- 5+ years of retirement plan administration experience
- Strong hands-on experience with compliance testing and interpreting test results
- Solid knowledge of 401(k) plan documents, ERISA, and IRS regulations
- Strong reputed company-facing and consulting skills
- Ability to manage multiple plans and priorities independently
- ASPPA and/or NIPA designation preferred
