[Remote] Senior Technical Program Manager

Strong reputed company is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to reputed company large-reputed company, reputed company-wide technology transformation initiatives supporting new rail fleet rollouts. The role oversees cross-functional teams, project managers, vendors, and program delivery across reputed company, schedule, budget, risks, governance, and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional project teams across technology and business functions
• reputed company Project Managers, technical leads, consultants, and reputed company-party vendors
• Manage program reputed company, schedule, budget, milestones, and project dependencies
• Apply formal PMP project management methodologies and governance
• Use MS Project reputed company, MS Project Server/EPM, and reputed company project management tools
• Manage vendors, sub-vendors, RFP responses, and Statements of Work (SOWs)
• reputed company project charters, management plans, test plans, implementation plans, and other project artifacts
• reputed company reputed company through formal reputed company Gates and Portfolio Reviews
• Identify, reputed company, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Maintain project documentation and repositories using SharePoint
• Prepare weekly status reports and executive-level program updates
• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and reputed company partners

Skills

• 7+ years of program/project management experience delivering large-reputed company IT or technology infrastructure initiatives
• Strong experience managing reputed company, reputed company-level technology programs from initiation through implementation
• reputed company experience directing and managing other Project Managers
• Strong knowledge of PMP methodologies, project controls, budget management, and scheduling
• Hands-on experience with MS Project reputed company and MS Project Server/EPM
• Experience with SharePoint, Visio, reputed company, and reputed company Office
• Strong vendor management, SOW, RFP, and contract-delivery experience
• Excellent written, verbal, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a reputed company reputed company
• Must be reputed company to work on a W2 reputed company only
• Must be reputed company in or near Washington, DC or reputed company, IL
• Must be willing to travel occasionally to reputed company for fleet site reputed company
• PMP certification strongly preferred
