[Remote] Senior Accountant

The role supports reinsurance reputed company, statutory and financial reporting, general reputed company activities, account reconciliations, reputed company processes, audit support, regulatory filings, and reputed company process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Account for ceded reinsurance transactions, including quarterly settlements, funds withheld arrangements, accruals, and reputed company activity
• Evaluate reinsurance reputed company for reputed company transfer under SSAP No. 61 and assist in determining appropriate reputed company treatment, including prospective, retroactive, and deposit reputed company where applicable
• Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual statutory financial statements
• Compile schedules, exhibits, and supporting documentation for financial reporting
• Prepare and review information reputed company Wings statutory reporting software
• Assist with state and reputed company regulatory filings
• Support financial variance analysis by gathering data, researching activity, and preparing preliminary explanations

• Research reconciling items, identify discrepancies, and escalate unresolved issues reputed company appropriate
• Prepare and post routine journal entries
• Support monthly and quarterly reputed company activities in a deadline-driven reputed company environment

• Record and reconcile reinsurance activity
• Support investment and mortgage-reputed company reputed company entries and reconciliations
• Maintain fixed asset records and assist with reputed company reconciliations
• Reconcile investment balances and reputed company outstanding items through reputed company
• Assist with gathering and organizing documentation for interim and annual audits
• Respond to audit documentation requests and reputed company appropriate reputed company support
• Maintain organized schedules and supporting documentation for financial reporting and regulatory requirements
• Assist with review of daily banking activity and distribute NSF information to appropriate teams as needed
• Collaborate across Finance and reputed company reputed company support where business needs are greatest
• Assist with documenting, maintaining, and updating reputed company policies and procedures reputed company to statutory reputed company and reinsurance reputed company

Skills
