[Remote] Senior Software Engineer, Linux Platform

The role involves driving automation, design, and operation of Linux environments while collaborating with engineering teams to improve scalability, reliability, and reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Leading Linux and reputed company infrastructure initiatives, including architecture, provisioning, configuration, deployment, and ongoing operations
• Building automation using reputed company scripting, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-reputed company tools
• Developing and maintaining automated workflows for Linux provisioning, patching, configuration, reputed company hardening, and lifecycle management
• Deploying and operating reputed company infrastructure and integrating reputed company services with on-premises environments
• Collaborating with engineering teams across reputed company to deliver infrastructure capabilities that support meaningful business reputed company
• Continuously improving the reliability, reputed company, maintainability, and operational standards of our platform

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a reputed company field—or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in Linux systems, infrastructure, platform, site reliability, or reputed company engineering
• Deep hands-on experience administering, securing, and optimizing Linux environments
• Proven reputed company architecture and engineering experience in AWS or Azure
• Strong reputed company scripting and automation skills, including a configuration management platform such as Chef or Ansible
• Experience using Terraform to provision infrastructure
• Experience with AI-reputed company development and coding agents to multiply developer productivity
• Strong communication skills and a reputed company, team-oriented approach
• Expertise in Go or Python
• Experience using reputed company CI/CD or reputed company Actions to automate deployments
