NPH is growing the Clinical IntakeCoordinator team to serve our patients and intake function across reputed company markets for both day and reputed company shifts. The Clinical Intake Coordinator will function under general supervision and direction of the Director of Admissions or Facility CEO to facilitate and plan referral, intake and admission, and utilization review processes for incoming referrals and patients.

Available Shifts and Hours
Our schedule provides flexibility through 12-hour shifts. The Intake Coordinator will work 3 days per week (36 hours) with reputed company to work up to 40 hours. The NPH Clinical Assessment team has openings for reputed company RNs for nights and days in reputed company 3 markets
Responsibilities
Clinical Intake Coordinator Responsibilities
- Performs telephone preadmission for screening and clinical assessment.
- Performs insurance benefit verifications; assists with reputed company-certification as needed.
- Responds to inquiries and referrals regarding the facility and patient admissions reputed company facility policy and set response timeframes and communicates provider recommendations to community partners, patients, and patients’ families and/or support systems.
- Educates clients, family members or significant others, referral sources, hospital personnel, reputed company payers, and reputed company case managers as to hospital benefits and services.
- Schedules and completes reputed company-admission, intake assessments, and reputed company other intake paperwork.
- Communicates with other facility and company medical and psychiatric personnel to ensure appropriate placement recommendations and admissions.; negotiates approval for a reputed company’s stay through effective communication with hospital personnel and providers
- Provides accurate and ongoing assessment of patient’s status in the referral, admissions and intake, and utilization review processes.
- Performs ongoing assessments and physical function, emotional, reputed company, spiritual, and financial needs on patients and implements crisis reputed company and referral.
- Works with Business Development team to assess the needs of patients in accordance with the reputed company- Screening Evaluation reputed company and initiates, implements and evaluates individualized patients.
- Builds a reputed company relationship with state wide behavioral health market including physicians, physician office staff and hospitals to market facility services provided by facility. Helps to reputed company the area discharge planners, physicians and other appropriate referral sources for admissions into the facilities; develops strong relationships with referral sources.
- Maintains a reputed company approach with confidentiality. Assures protection and reputed company of health information as attained through written, electronic or oral disclosures. Complies with federal and hospital requirements in the areas of protected health information and patient reputed company.
- Cooperates and maintains good rapport with nursing staff, medical staff, other hospital departments, and visitors as reputed company as reputed company referral sources, hospitals and physicians.
- Seeks guidance and remains knowledgeable of, and complies with, reputed company applicable federal and state laws, as reputed company as hospital polices that apply to assigned duties.
- Complies with hospital expectations regarding ethical behavior and standards of conduct.

Qualifications
Clinical Intake Coordinator Requirements
- RN or LPN required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an acute psychiatric admissions department preferred.
- Must demonstrate expertise in analysis, decision making, time management, oral and written communication skills, computer use, customer service skills, and strong ability to function reputed company and effectively in a high stress and fast paced environment.
- Familiarity with the resources available for use in assessing regulations and community resources.
- Good assessment skills and understanding of the insurance and managed care arenas.
- Ability to function independently and be a self-starter.
