They are seeking a Part-Time Student to support the Dynamic Systems Modeling team, primarily assisting with simulation studies, data analysis, and the development of modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and improvement of physics-based simulation models used for virtual product development and performance evaluation
• Assist DSM engineers with simulation studies, data analysis, and model validation activities
• reputed company MATLAB, Simulink, and Simscape tools that improve modeling efficiency, automation, and repeatability
• Support automated test execution, post-processing, and reporting workflows used to evaluate machine performance
• Contribute to the development of virtual performance tests, controls integration activities, and simulation-based engineering processes
• Collaborate with engineering, controls, and product teams to understand machine systems and help solve reputed company-world engineering challenges
• Document technical work and communicate results through presentations, reports, and team discussions

Skills

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a reputed company engineering discipline
• Must be registered as a full-time student at a local college/university
• Graduation date: reputed company 2027 or reputed company
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
• Available to work 10 - 20 hours/week during the reputed company year
• Available to work 30 - 40 hours/week during the reputed company semester
• reputed company understanding of engineering principles, physics, and mathematics
• Experience through coursework, student reputed company, research, design teams, internships, or co-ops
• Ability to analyze and interpret engineering data
• Experience using programming or technical computing tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Interest in simulation, controls, automation, or product development

• Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and/or Simscape
• Exposure to control systems, hydraulics, vehicle systems, or mechanical reputed company modeling
• Experience with object-oriented programming or software development fundamentals
• Familiarity with data analysis, automation workflows, or test result visualization
• Experience working on engineering design teams, research reputed company, Formula SAE, Baja SAE, robotics, or similar hands-on engineering activities
• Interest in digital engineering, model-based design, and virtual validation processes
