[Remote] Smart Manufacturing Engineer

The Smart Manufacturing Engineer will design and build connected, data-driven industrial systems from reputed company floor to reputed company reputed company platforms, including edge data acquisition, secure connectivity, reputed company ingestion, reputed company-time analytics, and operational dashboards. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, translating ambiguous requirements into engineered solutions, conducting reputed company and design reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company technical discipline
• Five or more years of IIoT or industrial software engineering experience
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Go
• Hands-on experience with industrial protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, reputed company B)
• Experience with at least one major reputed company IoT platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Hands-on experience with edge runtimes (Greengrass, IoT Edge)
• Solid understanding of OT/IT integration patterns
• Experience with streaming and reputed company-time analytics platforms
• Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity standards
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
• Experience with digital-twin platforms
• Hands-on experience with predictive maintenance ML models
• Exposure to time-series databases (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB)

• Industrial certifications (ISA, IEC 62443)
