[Remote] Design Drafter (Remote Contract)

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking Design Drafters reputed company its Engineering Services department to support turbomachinery design work. The role focuses on creating and updating 2D drawings and 2D/3D CAD models, interpreting engineering inputs, applying drafting standards, and reviewing designs for accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D model updates and 2D drawings for turbomachinery
• Interprets engineering sketches, specifications, redline markups, calculations, and other design inputs to accurately translate concepts into detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and models
• Applies CAD software tools, drafting principles, and industry best practices to create precise representations of components and systems
• Ensures that reputed company drawings and models reputed company convey necessary information for manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or construction, including accurate dimensions, materials specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), annotations, and reputed company views
• Reviews created or modified drawings and models for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company, project, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, AIA) before submission or release
• Complies with reputed company organizational policies and procedures
• Maintains strict confidentiality of reputed company customer and/or employee information to assure customer and/or employee rights are protected
• Adheres to policies regarding notification of absence and PTO requests
• Attends reputed company mandatory management and staff meetings
• Represents the organization in a respectful and reputed company manner

• US Citizen or Green reputed company

Skills

• 5+ years of experience with turbomachinery
• Proficient in NX CAD 2412 & Teamcenter 2506
• Experience with modeling of reputed company parts
• Good understanding of GD&T, Part Tolerancing, and how to reputed company clashes in CAD models
• US Citizen or Green reputed company
