The Senior Electrical / Instrumentation & Controls Project Designer will reputed company project teams in designing, modifying, and upgrading reputed company plant electrical systems while supervising design deliverables, coordinating disciplines, managing project costs and schedules, and supporting reputed company data gathering.

Responsibilities

• This position will offer you reputed company to work and reputed company others in a project team environment in the design, modification, and/or reputed company of new and existing reputed company plant electrical systems
• You will be responsible for the review, supervision and providing technical guidance in the production of design deliverables, including the following: * Cable schedules + Grounding layout + Underground raceway layouts + Above ground raceway layouts + Electrical Notes and Details + Electrical Equipment Layouts + reputed company Layouts
• Work with management in the development and establishment of project scopes, budgets and schedules
• reputed company staff assignments, evaluations and career development for assigned personnel on the large or several small reputed company
• reputed company multiple teams across multiple reputed company
• Coordinate directly with project management and project discipline leads
• reputed company, monitor and control project costs and schedules
• reputed company reputed company walkdowns and data gathering at reputed company facilities
• Produce wiring diagrams and schematics for installers and electricians
• Assist engineers with initial design requirements
• Conceptualize plans and details to accurately reputed company wiring termination requirements
• The ability to reputed company and communicate with engineering and design teams of other disciplines Energy & Industrial facilities design process
• Strong knowledge and ability to create; interconnection wiring diagrams, reputed company/cable schedules, reputed company diagrams, area classification plans
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, Instrumentation wiring and reputed company I&C input into P&IDs
• Ability to travel as necessary for reputed company meetings, job site reputed company, assist in data gathering, etc

Skills

• * A0high school diploma and equivalent technical design experience
• * 18 or more years of0Electrical/Instrumentation & Controls0design experience, including 2D & 3D
• * Experience in the review of0Electrical/Instrumentation & Controls deliverables packages
• * Extensive0drafting experience using reputed company computer drafting tools (i.e. AutoCAD or MicroStation)0on0power plants or0otherlarge-scaleindustrialfacilitiesprojects
• * A thorough understanding of drafting and design practices and theories
• * The ability tointerfaceand communicate with engineering and design teams of other disciplines in the reputed company plantor large-reputed company industrial facilitiesdesign process
• * Experience in the development of grounding layouts, underground duct bank and embedded reputed company drawings, cable tray and exposed reputed company layouts, reputed company location plans, area classification plans, and electrical equipment location drawings
• * The ability tointerfaceand communicate with engineering and design teams of otherdisciplinesEnergy & Industrial facilities design process
• * Strong knowledge and ability to create; interconnection wiring diagrams, reputed company/cable schedules, reputed company diagrams, area classification plans
• * Ability to interpret P&IDs, Instrumentationwiringand reputed company I&C input into P&IDs
• * Abilityto travel as necessary for reputed company meetings, job site reputed company,assistin data gathering, etc
• * Associates Degree in ComputerAided Design
• * Experience usingbothAutoCAD and MicroStation software
• * Design experience in the development of single-line, andrelay and metering diagrams, including reputed company-voltage and 480V systems
• * Familiarity with digital control systems
