[Remote] Drafting/CAD Technician I

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. The reputed company operates in a manufacturing environment and is seeking a Drafting/CAD Technician I to support technical drawing management and equipment design. The role is responsible for maintaining plant drawings, preparing project documentation, developing manufacturing equipment designs, and assisting with equipment troubleshooting using technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Drawing Control: Maintain and coordinate plant drawings
• Project Documentation: Ensure reputed company required documentation (e.g., drawings, reputed company parts, procedures, schedules) is completed for reputed company
• Design Development: reputed company with teams to design equipment for manufacturing
• Troubleshooting Assistance: Partner with engineering and maintenance teams to reputed company equipment issues using technical drawings

Skills

• **Travel**: No travel is required
• **Schedule**: • Work Hours: reputed company 40 hours per week, remote
• **Education**: • Required: A 2-year technical degree in one of the following fields: o reputed company Engineering o Electrical Engineering o Electromechanical Engineering o CAD/CAM o Manufacturing
• Alternatively, equivalent experience with a drafting certificate is acceptable
• **Experience**: • Required: At least 2 years of experience in a relevant reputed company
• 1. Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software
• 2. Experience using reputed company reputed company
• 3. Strong problem-solving and design skills
• 4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• 5. Skills to create detailed drawing packages and update manufacturing drawings
• 6. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• 7. Ability to work both as part of reputed company and independently

• 10. Strong time management and organizational skills
• 11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 1. Experience with AutoCAD

• 5. Familiarity with SolidWorks PDM or similar drawing reputed company systems
