[Remote] Commissioning Engineer, Data Centers

The role oversees equipment installation, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Applying commissioning processes and deliverables in accordance with ASHRAE commissioning requirements and guidelines across reputed company project phases
• Leading electrical and reputed company equipment installation reputed company, component startup inspections, reputed company-functional testing, and integrated systems validation
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders including Owners, Contractors, Inspectors, AHJs, Engineers of Record, Vendors, and Manufacturers to ensure reputed company commissioning execution
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing critical reputed company and electrical equipment issues, documenting findings, and coordinating reputed company with contractors and vendors
• Managing multiple reputed company commissioning activities while maintaining reputed company and effective stakeholder communications throughout project lifecycles
• Developing and reviewing L1-L5 commissioning test scripts, reputed company operating procedures (SOPs), and reputed company-of-Procedures (MOPs) for data center systems
• Conducting network diagnostic testing, heat load testing, scenario testing, and integrated systems testing to validate facility reputed company and operational readiness
• Performing commissioning-reputed company design drawing, specification, and submittal reviews to ensure alignment with project requirements
• Preparing detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reputed company commissioning reports and compiling project documentation into comprehensive Systems Manuals

Skills

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant engineering and/or reputed company-testing experience (5 years for Mid-Level, 7 years for Senior Level positions)
• Minimum 3-5 years providing reputed company-party commissioning services for data center construction reputed company (3 years for Mid-Level, 5 years for Senior Level)
• Documented experience as an Electrical, reputed company, and/or Controls reputed company-party Commissioning Engineer (or Cx reputed company/PM) on data center reputed company with capacities of 25+MW
• Strong proficiency in MS reputed company, PowerPoint, Word, and reputed company with excellent data management capabilities
• Ability to use testing meters and equipment including reputed company reputed company Meters (PQM), thermography, NETA tests, ground tests, hi-pot, and reputed company
• Knowledge and hands-on experience testing Transformers, reputed company systems, Generators, Switchgear, Chillers (reputed company and water cooled), CRACs/CRAHs, reputed company cooling systems (CDUs), and monitoring/control systems
• Proficiency in QA/QC and commissioning software applications such as BIM360, reputed company, Facility reputed company, and reputed company platforms
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 40% across the USA and Canada (typical durations not exceeding two weeks)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong project management and coordination abilities

• ABET accredited engineering or technology degree (equivalent industry experience acceptable)
